GTRI Launches Enterprise Service Management Unit

Global Technology Resources, a provider of technology consulting services, announced the launch of its new Enterprise Service Management (ESM) unit to provide clients with consulting and development services for IT management platforms, such as the IBM Tivoli Suite and HP OpenView.

According to GTRI, the new unit comes after the company's recent acquisition of Kestrel Consulting, a Portland-based firm with clients across government and commercial industries in Europe, Asia and North and South America. Monty LeBlanc, the founder of Kestrel Consulting, will head the new GTRI unit.

"The need for Enterprise Service and Systems Management has never been stronger," says LeBlanc. "By integrating our ability to engineer these complex solutions with GTRI's business offerings, we are now able to provide a more complete portfolio of solutions to a much broader client base."

Kestrel Consulting brings more than 80 years of aggregate experience and expertise in ESM to GTRI, with additional expertise in IT security and information assurance systems design and engineering.

"We are very eager to have Kestrel Consulting join our team and help us further expand our growing portfolio of professional services," says Monte Sjobakken, GTRI's VP of sales. "Their expertise is a real competitive advantage for GTRI and will give us even more leverage in the marketplace."

GTRI is a technology consulting provider, focused on helping clients align IT investments with business strategy. The company's consulting solutions address business needs in LAN/WAN IT strategy, VOIP and unified communications, infrastructure, wireless, network convergence, systems management, business continuity, storage and backup, project management, staff augmentation and managed services.
