Singapore ruling leaves NAB in hot water

The Singapore-based Cambridge Industrial Trust has been barred by local regulators from taking over the MacarthurCook Industrial Trust. The target's investors are meeting on 23 November 2009 to vote on a debt funding deal with National Australia Bank, which has gained criticism for being both the main lender to and stakeholder in the Cambridge entity. The latter owns a tenth of the MacarthurCook fund.
