CDC Software completes Truition acquisition

CDC Software Corporation (CDCS.NASDA
Q), a global provider of enterprise software applications and services
, announced on Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Truitio
n Inc., a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider in Canada.
The acquisition's closing is expected to arrive within the next two
weeks and is subject to normal and customary closing conditions.
A CDC Software official noted that Truition provides services to 15
0 customers in 10 countries, which would help CDC Software advance int
o the business-to-customer market. It will also help CDC Software prov
ide comprehensive supply chain solutions ranging from raw materials to
the final customer.
The company has acquired several other SaaS providers including the
UK company WKD and Activeplant.
