Canadian Quantum Announces It's Participation in the Talisman Gentilly 2A HZ Well, Utica Shale Play, Quebec

Canadian Quantum Energy Corporation ("Canadian Quantum" / "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:CQM) is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the Talisman Gentilly 2A HZ, a horizontal well off-setting the original vertical Gentilly #1, Utica Shale Play, Quebec.

The operation is expected to commence in early December and should take approximately 35 days to complete the drilling portion. Completion of the planned 1,000 meter horizontal section is expected to follow shortly thereafter.

Canadian Quantum has a 3.75% working interest and a 0.75% royalty interest in the up-coming horizontal well. The Company holds various interests in approximately 170,000 acres in the Quebec Lowlands, Utica Shale Play.
