Sweet music for record industry

Total music sales are increasing in Australia although CD and DVD sales have flattened. The industry has seen a 6.1% increase in 2009. Music retailer JB Hi-Fi continues its expansion program and sells almost half of all music in Australia. The music industry is continuing to review its operations.
