Ephox Reports Record Revenues and Growth in Q3 2009

Ephox, the leading provider of online authoring software, today announced record revenues for the quarter ending September 30, 2009, with revenues up 91% compared to the same quarter a year ago. EditLive!, the company's flagship product for online content editing, is now the best-selling software in its category with more than $5 million in sales over the past 12 months. Driving the growth were strong customer demand and enterprise partnerships with IBM, Open Text and others.

This month Ephox celebrated its 10th anniversary by bringing its US, European and Australian teams together "downunder" in Brisbane, Australia -- where the company was founded. Further, the company received strong recognition for its achievements in 2009. In the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies in America, Ephox reached number 755, with 383% growth for the three-year period ended 2009. The Silicon Valley Business Journal also ranked Ephox as number 14 on the "Fast Private" list for the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley.

"Despite the challenging economic environment, 2009 has been very strong for Ephox," said Andrew Roberts, CEO of Ephox. "By partnering with the top content management vendors, we've been able to help the world's best brands and governments build web sites and intranets that are more effective than ever."

As businesses look to rebuild and generate revenue coming out of the economic downturn, many are increasing their web investments to increase sales and be more productive. By enabling non-technical staff to easily contribute compelling content, Ephox is uniquely positioned for continued growth. With the growth of wikis and blogs both publicly and on intranets, the company is seeing even more growth in the burgeoning market of social software.
