Agilent Technologies acquires product line of Keithley Instruments

Agilent Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic and bio-analytical measurement equipment and solutions, has acquired the product line of Keithley Instruments, Inc., a developer of wireless test equipment. Both the companies are based in the US.
Announcement (November 19, 2009):
Agilent Technologies has agreed to acquire the product line of Keithley for $9 million.
The acquisition includes, Keithley's radio frequency (RF) design center at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport, US. Keithley's RF instruments are used to test cell phones and other wireless devices.
Under the terms of the agreement, Agilent will assume certain liabilities and provide continuing service and support for Keithley's RF products.
The Keithley location at Aviation Boulevard will become an Agilent facility in December 2009.
