Medipattern Expands B-CAD-FOR-LIFE(TM) Program With Ocean Medical Imaging Center in New Jersey

The Medipattern Corporation ("Medipattern") (TSX VENTURE:MKI), a pioneer in the development of medical software solutions that help improve imaging workflow and productivity, has announced that it has partnered with Ocean Medical Imaging Center (OMIC), developed through a partnership with Lake Forest, Calif.-based InSight Health Services Holdings Corp. ("Insight Imaging") (OTCBB:ISGT), to provide the service of B-CAD(R) computer aided detection of breast ultrasound imaging under the B-CAD-FOR-LIFE(TM) program.

B-CAD automatically characterizes breast lesions using the American College of Radiology (ACR) Ultrasound Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS(R)). B-CAD increases accuracy, saves time, and improves efficiency.

"Our sonographers learned to use B-CAD within a few hours and our physicians saw a significant improvement in their ability to more efficiently communicate diagnoses. B-CAD enables them to simply click on standardized language and then it guides them through the process, replacing handwritten notes with BI-RADS evidenced-based descriptors," said Karen Starr-Brady, Regional Director of Enterprise Operations for Insight Imaging.
