Adtran Expands into Unified Communications Market

Adtran, a supplier of converged communication solutions, announced that the company is expanding its solution portfolio by entering the Unified Communications (UC) market with the launch of a full line of NetVanta Unified Communications products.
"Adtran offers a full suite of next-generation converged communications solutions ranging from QoS-enabled routers and switches to IP PBX and IP Business Gateways. Unified Communications is a natural extension of our solution portfolio," said Rick Schansman, senior vice president and general manager, Adtran Enterprise Networks Division. "Our NetVanta UC products will not only allow us to provide personalized Unified Communications solutions to customers of all sizes, but combined with our enterprise product suite, enable Adtran to deliver an industry-leading breadth of enterprise communications solutions."
