Santa Claran Hotel Casino Selects Guest 360 Solution from Agilysys

Agilysys, Inc., a provider of information technology and hospitality software solutions, has announced that Santa Claran Hotel Casino, formerly Big Rock Casino, in Espanola, New Mexico, has selected the Guest 360 property management solution for its new 124-room hotel, scheduled to open in January.

The groups noted the Santa Claran Hotel Casino is the first gaming site to implement the property management system from Agilysys.

"The Guest 360 solution is truly revolutionary, and we wanted to get in on the ground floor of the project," said Joseph Quiroli, general manager at Santa Claran Hotel Casino. "We have a lot of confidence in Agilysys, as we already use their solutions for point-of-sale and inventory and procurement. The professionalism they have extended to us, as well as the support they offer, is tremendous. When it came time to select a property management system for our new hotel, we knew they were the right vendor."

The Guest 360 solution is an open database and cross-platform property management system that utilizes Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide a highly scalable and flexible solution for hotels and resorts of all sizes as well as multi-property operations. The company said that SOA enables the Guest 360 solution to be tailored to a hotel's business processes and allows for integration with other software systems. Features of the Guest 360 property management solution include: an attributes-based inventory engine; an offer and rating system; and Guest Hub, a centralized repository for guest profiles, including history, itineraries, interests and preferences.

"The Guest 360 solution offers a real departure from traditional property management systems that merely track reservations and perform check-in and check-out," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group. "This solution actually helps predict guest preferences and makes suggestions based on guest recognition. This innovative technology will give the Santa Claran Hotel Casino a competitive advantage and enable the property to provide a memorable guest experience."

The Santa Claran Hotel Casino, located 20 minutes from Santa Fe in Espanola, NM, features a 27,000-square-foot casino, three restaurants, tapas bar and live entertainment. The new hotel, scheduled to open in January 2010, will feature 124 rooms and suites and a fitness center. The Santa Claran Hotel Casino is owned by the Santa Clara Development Corp., committed to the healthy growth and economic development of Northern New Mexico's Santa Clara Pueblo native people.
