American Barcode and RFID Joins Zebra Enterprise Solutions Partner Program

Zebra Enterprise Solutions, a division of Zebra Technologies, announced American Barcode and RFID has joined its partner program.

The ZES partner program enables AB&R to integrate a broader range of technology solutions with its existing offerings.

AB&R, a technology integrator of automatic identification and data collection solutions, helps customers manage and track assets, mobilize their workforce and secure the workplace. A partner of Zebra Technologies' Specialty Printing Group since 2003, the company is now extending its relationship to ZES and will now offer active radio-frequency identification (RFID) and ultra-wide band (UWB) technology.

"Zebra's full breadth of products and solutions, service and channel strategy aligns well with AB&R, and growing our relationship is a natural progression that will benefit our customers and our business."

AB&R said it plans to utilize its partnership with ZES to provide Real-Time Locations Systems (RTLS) to its clients with a need for tracking high-value assets internally. Specifically, AB&R sees promise in leveraging ZES's UWB technology in its core competency of securing the workplace. The collaboration will allow AB&R to provide relevant customers with controlled access through real-time visibility into the location of visitors and employees.

American Barcode and RFID is a technology integrator of Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) solutions that help customers manage assets, track inventory, mobilize their work force, and secure their work place.

Zebra Enterprise Solutions, a division of Zebra Technologies, extends Zebra's reach beyond passive RFID by employing software and hardware solutions to locate, track, manage, and optimize assets, equipment and people across supply chains.
