Hospital Systems licenses picture archiving and communication system technology to Stryker Corporation and Stryker Imaging Corporation

Hospital Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation, has entered into a license agreement with Stryker Corporation and Stryker Imaging Corporation covering a portfolio of patents that relate to medical picture archiving and communication system (PACS) technology.
This agreement resolves the parties' dispute that was pending in the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Acacia Research Corporation, through its operating subsidiaries, acquires, develops, licenses, and enforces patented technologies. Stryker is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of specialty surgical and medical products, and Stryker Imaging is a medical device company which offers orthopedic picture archive and communications systems serving orthopedic market. All the partners are based in the US.
