Netezza's data warehouse appliance selected by Compass Group UK & Ireland

Provider of data warehouse and analytic appliances Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ) on Monday said that Compass Group UK & Ireland, a provider of foodservices and support services, has successfully deployed the Netezza data warehouse appliance as a critical part of a strategic project to renew its entire business intelligence infrastructure.
Financial details of the deployment were not available.
Netezza said that with its data warehouse appliance, Compass is able to process substantial amounts of data and run extremely complex reports in just minutes, instead of hours.
