Planview Chooses Akamai's Managed Acceleration Services

Akamai Technologies, Inc., a company specializing in powering video, dynamic transactions and enterprise applications online, announced that Planview, an independent provider of portfolio management solutions, has selected Akamai Web Application Accelerator to enhance the delivery of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) portfolio management platform, Planview Enterprise On-Demand.
According to a release, the Akamai solution supports Planview's growing global footprint, and is designed so that Planview Enterprise On-Demand users will benefit from improved performance, availability and at least 50 percent faster response times within the application.
