3PAR: 3PAR announces 50% Capacity Savings guarantee

3PAR (NYSE: PAR), the leading global provider of utility storage, announced today the Get Thin Guarantee, a new 3PAR program that guarantees capacity savings of at least 50% to customers converting from existing "fat" volumes on traditional storage to new thin volumes on any 3PAR InServ Storage Server with Thin Built In. Under the terms of the program, 3PAR guarantees participating customers purchasing InServ F-Class or T-Class arrays that they will halve the amount of raw capacity required to store existing data or 3PAR will make up the shortfall with free additional disk capacity and associated software and support.*
