Intrinsyc's RapidRIL for Android Now Accelerates Development of Mobile Devices Using Sierra Wireless Modems

Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS), a global wireless software solutions provider, announced the immediate availability of a commercial-grade, open market Radio Interface Layer (RIL) software for mobile devices utilizing the Android operating system and Sierra Wireless 8XXX modems. Intrinsyc's RapidRIL was previously adapted to the Infineon XMM(TM) platforms and X-Gold families of mobile device baseband processors supporting GSM/GPRS, EDGE, and WCDMA/HSPA technologies.
