SIA Engineering to form joint venture with Panasonic Avionics

SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC), a Singapore-based aviation engineering services provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to form a joint venture to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of in-flight entertainment and communications (IFEC) systems and components produced by Panasonic Avionics.

Panasonic Avionics is a US-based supplier of in-flight entertainment and communication systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, both the parties will work towards a definitive agreement to set up a regional center of excellence for Panasonic Avionics components used in current and future Panasonic Avionics IFEC systems.
