Australia's Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance is a partnership between the Defence Materiel Organisation, ASC and Raytheon. As at early February 2010, workers at the site of the $A8 billion air warfare destroyer project have secured the right to a 36-hour week. However, with costings worked out on the basis of a 38-hour week, concerns have been raised that the shorter week could have a negative impact on delivery schedules and on the cost of three warships.
