Firefighting robots

London Fire Brigade, along with other services in the South East of England, have called in military robot specialists to help them tackle difficult, dangerous fibres. QinetiQ, which builds the Talon robot used widely in Iraq and Afghanistan, has adapted several of its machines for civilian duties.

Guitar Hero: Matthieu Bessudo

Matthieu Bessudo – aka illustrator mcbess – spent four months working with French animator Simon Landrein to create a 3D music video for Bessudo’s band, The Dead Pirates. He used characters he has been developing since he was doodling them in school in France.
