The owner of Jacksonville’s largest hotel, Chartres Lodging Group LLC, was delinquent on a $150 million securitized mortgage when Hyatt Hotels Corp. (NYSE: H) agreed to cover up to $5 million in payments on the mortgage if Chartres could not, according to an article in The Wall Street Journal.
