CINCINNATI & MANILA--(BUSINESS WIRE) - Nov. 17, 2009--Convergys Corporation, a global leader in relationship management, continues to expand in the Philippines and it needs more employees right away. Convergys said today it plans to hire approximately 4,500 more agents between now and the end of February for its twelve contact center facilities in the Philippines.
With approximately 18,000 employees today, Convergys in the Philippines is well on its way to surpassing 20,000 employees in the near future.

Convergys, a company specializing in relationship management, announced that Cavalier Telephone, a full-service provider of telecommunications solutions for business, consumer and government customers, has signed a license agreement for Convergys' Smart BSS Solutions.
Convergys said it will also provide Cavalier with consulting services as part of this agreement.
Convergys will implement its Product Control Manager Smart App, a centralized product catalog and product lifecycle management solution, for Cavalier in the first quarter of 2010.
"With Convergys' Product Control Manager, we will now have a consolidated view of all our product data, which will allow improved order administration and lifecycle management, enabling Cavalier to achieve better service delivery timeframes and an overall improved customer experience," said Rick Gambriel, CIO, Cavalier.

At the Enterprise Decision Management Summit in Las Vegas, Convergys announced it shared its insights on how intelligent interactions will deliver consistent service experiences to customers.
