ebuild: Smoke Alarms
Can anyone recommend a reliable smoke alarm? We have four mains powered smoke alarms in our new build and they are giving use too many problems. The 9V backup battery only lasts three months and we keep getting woken up at 3am by low battery alerts.

ebuild: Gas fire cuts out
Your problem seems to be that the pilot flame moves away from the thermocouple, (a divise which when heated will keep the pilot gas valve open, but when it goes cold it will close the pilot valve, and switch off the main gas valve. This is a safety device).
