Ok here it goes; I have developed an awkfard fetish for concrete. I adore the fact that altough harsh and cold if correctly executed it can create spaces that are warm, sensual and even spiritual.

is it possible to have a poured concrete pitched roof? I've heard it can be done but my schoolboy physics tell me not possible. what is the maximum slope/gradient that can be poured? what sort of spans of roof can be covered without internal column supports?

I've been reading through Division 03300 and don't see any cost for stripping form work. Does anyone know if this cost is covered in the

The Windsor used to be nice for a quiet drink, but it's so loud and crowded now, you're lucky if you get a seat. The Briar rose is a lovely building with huge opening windows at the front, not bad during the day. But in the evening it's always too crowded.
