the new western foyer of the sydney opera house almost a year after the death of sydney opera house architect jorn utzon, a 38 million AUD refurbishment project has been complete. the project was the most comprehensive since the opera house trust re- engaged the danish architect a decade ago.

Shochiku Co. (TSE:9601) announced Wednesday that the famous Kabukiza Theater in Ginza, Tokyo, will be torn down and reconstructed as a complex housing a kabuki theater and office space. Work will begin in May 2010 and is expected to be completed in spring 2013 at an estimated cost of 43 billion yen
