IMEC Uses BP Solar Substrate for Low-Cost Silicon Solar Cell

IMEC and BP Solar have jointly demonstrated an 18% conversion efficiency for solar cells made of BP Solar's Mono2 silicon, a low-cost alternative to traditional Czochralski silicon substrates.
