I'm gearing up to install a grid-connected PV system w/battery bank in the spring. I have my heart set on the SW Plus because of it’s features and programmability but I've seen nothing definite that a grid-tie interface is or will be available for these units. Any info.

There seems to some conflicting data out there on the 'interwebs' about this cooler and graphics card. Most sites reference the RHS 88 for ram and chipset cooling, however this solution is designed for the other GTS 8800 cards (320MB & 640MB Versions).

Cost is about even so I don't know which is better/worse. Anyone used both? I think the "fanless" option would be quieter, but I have concerns regarding overheating. (Btw, it's a P4 2Ghz system.) Thoughts...? K.

SMT Heat Sinks
We're looking at a new assembly that will require an SMT heat sink. Can anyone recommend potential vendors for this part? It is new to us, so we're having to start from scratch. Thanks John (http://www.smtnet.com/forums/Index.cfm?

Xantrex Forums: XW Inverter Search Curiosities
Hey all, I'm living with a new XW 6048 system as my first-ever off-grid experience. For the most part, things are great, but there are a few mysteries I thought I'd bring up. FYI, it's a 6048 inverter hooked up to a 48V battery array (of course), charged by a generator. No "green" energy.

Xantrex Forums: XW-MPPT60-150 design code violation?
It's the NEC. The NEC requires the 60 amp continuous circuit to have wiring and overcurrent protection rated for at least 75 amps (125% of continuous current). If the CB is a "continuous duty" the wiring still has to be 125% of that continuous rating.
