Xantrex Forums: 4048 in battery and grid system
HI I am a new user of a 4048E connected to AC IN 1 and 48V 500Ah battery pack charged by 18x180W panels. Due to local complications (that's Italy!) it is VERY cumbersome to have a grid tied system.

It's possible that what has happened is leaving the laptop on the sofa caused the exhaust vents to be blocked and your processor or other chip on the motherboard overheated.

My message center turns red and my fuel, and temp gauges drop all the way to the left. Low fuel lights up in message center then security then not charging and cycles through these till the power comes back then the security light stays on but the gauges and the other messages go back to normal.

Fixed CD RW problem - Diamond Cut User Forum
After months of trying to figure this out, 3 trips to the tech and one new drive, I finally figured out why my machine would not write to CD. The original computer tech who built the machine set up the Raid controller as a SCSI device. It should have been set up as an IDE device.

Oh, Hai! This is the penthouse. You are looking at the UPS room. "Why am I getting a call from the temp sensors saying that zone 1 is 85 degrees?" AC FAIL! Uh-oh....it's got another 2 minutes before I go into bypass and shut the thing down to prevent issues..... BOF (Big Ol' Fan) to the rescue!
