If so, is it any better than the Motorola Surfboards? I have a choice from Comcast to get either one. Is one better than the other? I suppose connections are all capped? Well, any input is appreciated, except from that PEPKAC person.

My access stopped on Dec 2 after @home went down. After a month of unsuccessful tech. support online chats I finally managed to get someone to come and replace the modem. He said that none of the RCA dcm205 modems are working on the new network.

Help I bought a RCA cable modem without a power supply and I am trying to figure out the power on the 4 pin plug from the AC adapt. any help ???? I have the ground pin and the 12vdc. If there is any info on the power cube, model, serial, voltage, manufacture that would help.
