SoundStage! The Kinks - Low Budget
It becomes increasingly difficult from this distance to figure out which band influenced other bands during the 60s. As a case in point, take the Kinks. Did the Who and the Stones influence them, or did the Kinks influence the Rolling Stones and the Who?
Review - Sunrise CD - Elvis Reviews, By: Jakob Skjernaa Hansen
There are many good things to be said about this latest RCA/BMG release, and it is in many ways a very welcome addition to the catalog. However, it is at the same time rather disappointing - not for what it is, but rather for what it isn't but could quite easily have been.

Nyko Stereo Link Cable and FireWire Adaptor | iLounge
Wow, it's surprising that this would get a B+. This is great for *SHORT* car trips, but why would you want to have to wait a few hours for your ipod to recharge before you can reconnect your audio? This is a hell of a lot MORE intrusive than a mini stereo connector.

Essential Elvis? Here it is! - Elvis at 21: New York to Memphis - Elvis Reviews, By: Robert Hilburn
The latest album in RCA's endless Elvis Presley's CD reissue series may have 'Essential' in the title, but don't believe it. RCA has called nearly a dozen earlier albums or boxed sets 'essential', and few have lived up to the claim.

In May 1911, Gustav Mahler died in Vienna, leaving his Symphony No.10 incomplete. Or so it was believed at the time and indeed for half a century afterwards.
