If a Medicare rebate was available for DEXA scans under age 70, we would possibly diagnose more osteoporosis patients, especially men. Men generally don't present as often as women for health checks (if at all!

Doctors who have worked with NPs trust their judgement, know that NPs will refer things which fall outside their scope and appreciate the support of a highly expert member of the clinical team. The clinics referred to here are based alongside the ED.
