I would be more than happy for ALL GPs to be banned from manipulation. Leave all the placebo-only stuff, including acupuncture, to one of the myriad of alternative practitioners and their equally nutter patient population.

I occasionally see patients in clinic who have been unnecessarily worried by throwaway comments. I just heard of a classic. A patient, now cleared by ophthalmology as having 'floaters' is still overly worried and looking at various websites

Can any body tell me how to catch duplicate appointments. Pt calls and asks for an appointment for a particular day but does not know she has an appointment same day at a different time?
