The company said it began accepting orders for the invisibleSHIELD for the Motorola Droid, November 2nd, and expects to start shipping to key retailers prior to the advertised availability date for the device on November 6th.

The Motorola Droid is a smartphone being positioned as a competitor to Apple's iPhone line with a national advertising campaign highlighting Droid's advantages, including running simultaneous apps, the ability to change device batteries, and customizable features. The Droid will be the first device running Google's Android 2.0 mobile platform.
