new format caterer and restaurant reviews
read the new style caterer this week, 29 oct - 4 nov and have to say found the new format a little dissapointing. Somewhat blocky and overcrowded. Maybe with time it will grow on me.
Will the new publication date of the Michelin guide affect the industry?
After weeks of speculation, Michelin has confirmed that it will publish the 2012 edition of its Great Britain & Ireland guide in October, not January as usual.

AA Rosettes, how do you get assessed?
Just wondering if there are any hotels out there, not with the AA hotel scheme, who have managed to get the hotel restaurant assessed for Rossettes and if so how is it done.
Does the AA do enough to promote individual hotels?
The four-red-star Cotswold House Hotel & Spa in Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire, has decided to pull out of the AA guide because it does not promote the individuality of the property.

Around about lunch time yesterday we were approached by a source, who had a copy of the yet to be released Good Food Guide 2011. Amazon, say that the guide isnt due for release until 8th Sept.
