Michael Chiarello's Casual Cooking @ Kitchen Loco!

I've grown to love Michael Chiarello's recipes. In the Goldilocks challenge between making a dish "too simple" or "too much work," time after time Chiarello manages to find the spot that's exactly right.

Eat Drink or Die.com Video Website Debuts - Zibb.com

EatDrinkorDie.com, the new culinary infused business venture from the Or Die Networks Group, creators of Funny or Die and Shred or Die, will be officially launched on August 21, 2008, it was announced today by Dick Glover, CEO of the Or Die Networks Group.

"Eat, Drink or Die is in the culinary world what Funny or Die is in the comedy world -- a hip, contemporary, comprehensive site that mixes the best of professional content with user generated content to create a unique online experience," said Glover. "This is a website for food lovers of all ages -- and palates."

The website, www.eatdrinkordie.com, is a premier video and recipe sharing site, celebrating food and beverage, health and nutrition, entertaining, etiquette and lifestyle. Targeting men, women and children passionate about cooking and food, Eat Drink or Die provides a fresh, fun look at the many facets of the culinary world and mixes in a dash of comic relief. A bevy of celebrity chefs and food experts have provided content for the site including Art Smith (formerly Oprah's personal chef and award winning author), Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV, Michael Chiarello (creator of NapaStyle, a line of home goods and artisanal specialty foods), Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (authors of One Pan, Two Dudes and owners of the restaurant Animal), and Sophie Uliano ("green" expert and author of Gorgeously Green), among others.

Award winning restaurateur, owner of Craft restaurants, and head judge on Bravo's "Top Chef", Tom Colicchio, has signed on as a partner to Eat Drink or Die and will regularly contribute to the site, starring in video segments on restaurants, farmers' markets, cooking and "chef life" interviews.

"Tom Colicchio is an integral part of Eat Drink or Die," said Brittany Lovett and Talia Lesak, creators and co-founders of the on-line video community. "His influence and presence within the food and restaurant industry is unparalleled. His value as a mentor for aspiring chefs is an inspiration to both professional and home cooks alike. We're honored to have him as part of our family at Eat Drink or Die."

"The phenomenon of people going online to share their recipes and passion for food has grown wildly over the past few years. I'm excited to work with Britt and Talia on creating video segments that are entertaining and user- friendly," said Colicchio. "This site will be an opportunity for world- renowned chefs and amateur enthusiasts to build a community centered around recipes and food-related ideas, while having a lot of fun."

The website has been an all-consuming passion for Brittany Lovett and Talia Lesak, who share a love for cooking and entertaining. Both entrepreneurs -- Brittany, an independent producer, created and sold the Emmy nominated reality series "Last Comic Standing" and Talia previously launched her own line of women's activewear -- started the website because they wanted to get back into the kitchen and hope to inspire others to do the same. "We want our families, friends and children to learn about healthy eating, sustainable farming, local food, and about our New Earth. We want to share with them how to enjoy the fun and humor surrounding food and drink and encourage them to 'taste life' ... to the fullest."

The variety of content on Eat Drink or Die was produced for a wide range of viewers, from the single woman trying to impress her date with a great dinner, to the college student who wants quick, easy recipes, to the super dad looking to prepare breakfast for his family on the weekend. Regular programming includes "What's For Dinner Tonight," "Daily Nutrition with Jonny Bowden", "Taste Testers with Pete and Brian," "Wake and Bake with Jon Shook & Vinny Dotolo" and "Cheese of the Day with Norbert."

About Or Die Networks
