I have just purchased MultiEdit 2008. I have used ME in the past but with ORACLE. The current shop where I work uses Microsoft SQL Server. Is ME compatible with SQL Server and if so what specific setups allow ME to compile and run SQL against SQL Server?

I am extracting the data from a number of tables that reside in SQL Server 2000. Within the Schema Extraction Wizard I am selecting to include the Insert Statements for the data. My issue is that the script is created with a go statement after each Insert statement.

Well, I would try to weigh in my comments but Microsoft's demo videos are very choppy. Unfortunately I don't have a "junk" server to try out the download. So far, it sounds great. It seems like more Admin control and security enhancements rather that simply stbility (like SQL 2005 introduced).

calculated fields | groups | OLAP | SSAS

It seems that I have no option for creating calculated fields when attached to SSAS and yet I know that SSAS can perform calculations on measures. I also apparently do not have any options for ad-hoc grouping on a dimension. What options/workarounds do I have for working with these limitations?
