FiOS TV is delivered direct to the home over fibre optic cabling, giving Verizon the capability to provide bandwidths of up to 50Mb/s. Initial service will be deployed to some households later this summer, with the service available to all households in the initial service area within three years.

FiOS TV offers up to 400 SD channels and 27 HD channels, with Verizon planning to add more HD channels in the future. Packages are on offer starting at USD5.99 per month and options include Verizon broadband access and both wireline and wireless telephone services.
