Abu Dhabi Jan 10: The Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Authority has organized a 49 day International Pearl Festival at the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. The Pearl Festival, the first of its kind, opened on 10th December, 2006 and will run till the end of February.

I believe this is the same exhibit that is now in Paris. It has traveled all over the US and I think even world wide and has now made it to Europe. It's called Pearls: A Natural History. It does have some pretty spectacular pieces.
