Mining co. Hecla raises added $16M in stock sale. - COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) -- Underwriters exercised their overallotment option, resulting in the issuing of nearly 3.4 million additional shares of Hecla Mining Co. and raising about $16 million more in proceeds, the company announced Tuesday.
