As reported by The Sydney Morning Herald, market research firm GfK Australia compiled data from major retailers and found that total games industry revenues in the year to June 30, 2007 were AUS 1.03 billion, or USD 847 million, a 15 per cent increase over the prior year.

NEW YORK -- Broadway took a tumble in Week 1 (May 26-June 1), with total cume falling roughly $3.2 million to around $17.6 million for 34 shows reporting. Taking into account estimates for "Young Frankenstein," which fell $165,000 to $797,000, the tally came to $18.4 million.
