All Star Directories Ranked Among 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington for Fifth
SEATTLE, Oct 27, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
All Star Directories, one of the Internet's fastest-growing publishers of online and career school directories, announced today that the Puget Sound Business Journal recognized the company as the 45th fastest-growing private company in Washington State. This marks the fifth consecutive year of the company's inclusion on the list, entering All Star into the award's hall of fame.
All Star is one of 11 companies on the 2008 list to have been included five times or more. The rankings are based on companies' percentage of revenue growth over the past three years. From 2005-2007, All Star Directories experienced more than a 137.7 percent positive change in revenue and 38 percent increase in the number of its employees.
"All Star is built on the foundation of delivering highly qualified leads through transparent business practices," said Doug Brown, President and CEO of All Star Directories. "Through this commitment we have been able to establish long-term partnerships with our clients, which enabled the growth of our business, along with the rising demand for Web-based marketing methods. We wouldn't have been able to achieve this substantial growth for the past five years, however, if it were not for the talent and dedication of our employees."
The award follows two other wins this year: Deloitte Fast 50 Technology Companies and Washington CEO's Top 100 Private Companies.

All Star Directories Ranked Number 11 in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Washington State
SEATTLE, Sep 29, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
All Star Directories, one of the Internet's fastest growing publishers of online and career school directories, has been named to Deloitte & Touche USA LLP's prestigious Technology Fast 50 program for Washington state, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in the area. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003 to 2007.
All Star Directories' CEO, Doug Brown, attributes the company's 1,310 percent revenue growth from 2003 to 2007 to attractive market fundamentals and sound internal business practices.
"The use of the Web to attract consumers to all types of marketing offers has gathered incredible momentum during this decade. Reallocation of higher education marketing budgets from traditional advertising methods to Web-based methods created a great opportunity for All Star Directories," said Brown. "Our customers look for high qualified leads and transparent business practices -- All Star's extraordinary team delivers both."
All Star Directories' increase in revenues of 1,310 percent from 2003 to 2007 resulted in a number 11 ranking in the Technology Fast 50 for Washington State. This is the first year All Star Directories has the made the prestigious list.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and $5,000,000 in 2007, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
Companies from the regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies. For more information on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 or Technology Fast 500 programs, visit www.fast500.com.
