Artfest International, Inc. (OTCBB: ARTI) announced today that renowned film and television director, producer and writer Jack Weis has joined the Company to produce and direct the programming for the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Art Channel Galleries, Inc. Art Channel Galleries is one of the Company's venues bringing artists and buyers together, in part, through television content.

"After several months of preparation, Artfest is announcing several of its initiatives to bring artists and art enthusiasts together. We have already launched our global social art network, www.MyArtfest.com, and now Jack is a great addition to the company as we build and improve upon our television content for Art Channel Galleries and ArtChannel.tv. Artfest will bring a variety of film and original television programming to our network," Artfest CEO Edward Vakser stated. "Jack brings both his own expertise and experience as well as a large network of industry experts and distribution relationships to Artfest."

"I encourage everyone with an interest in art to learn more about our Company," Mr. Vakser added. "Now is a ground floor opportunity to get involved in our global art network."

Global Social Art Network - MyArtfest.com Rivaling MySpace, Facebook and You Tube

Earlier this week, Artfest announced the launch of its proprietary global social network www.MyArtfest.com, the world's first web-based social network dedicated to art in all its forms. MyArtfest will allow independent artists from all over the world to directly present their creations to art enthusiasts. The art community now has a unique venue to both exchange ideas and to buy and sell works of art and associated services. Unlike other social networks, MyArtfest is focused solely on the global art community.

Artfest International expects to generate revenues with MyArtfest through the sale of advertising and marketing space and the collection of fees on art sold through the site. The Company also maintains other lines of business including ArtChannel.tv and Art Channel Galleries.

How to Get Started with MyArtfest

MyArtfest is easy to use and membership is free. To get started, visit www.MyArtfest.com and create a profile. Next, simply invite friends and customers to join your network. The only cost to users is when a creation is sold. Similar to Ebay, a small seller's fee will be applied to all sales transactions.
