Through Ford Motor Company's efforts to introduce displaced employees to careers in new industries, the American Trucking Associations is working to show the benefits of a career in trucking through their driver recruitment campaign, www.GetTrucking.com. This job fair allows Ford workers to explore options for a second career, and at the same time helps industries such as trucking recruit new candidates to ease the driver shortage.

GetTrucking.com will promote the campaign's fully redesigned website that serves as the online resource for potential drivers, driving schools and motor carriers to fill the demand for truck driving jobs. New candidates can use the website to find motor carriers or truck schools that will help them get started in a truck driving career. America's Road Team Captain Al Adams, a driver for Roadway, will also be there to talk about his 38 years and over 3 million miles of experience as a professional truck driver.
