A serving soldier, injured in the front line, has a 25 per cent better chance of survival, than a civilian with similar injuries. Expertise is obviously there but is there a justification for the priority?

Training body Skills for Care has suggested that social workers be trained in self defence to help prepare them for dangerous situations.
Should the military be training staff in managing challenging behaviour among people with learning disabilities?
Not sure if you caught our story this morning on Castlebeck but it warns of more such cases due to the current state of training (based on the views of a couple of people involved in training people in positive behaviour support).
