I’m torn when a convention I’m attending has video programming I’m interested in — it can be a way to see movies early (or at all, depending on where you live), but it takes precious time away from visiting booths or attending panels, which you can’t do anywhere else.

Some readers insist on reading a bad book. I can understand. No I can’t. The rationale for that type of reader behavior is usually this: I paid for it and I am going to finish it even if it kills me. The question is why bother? Why finish reading a story you strongly dislike?
