Hi there, I am a volunteer in the library of a small Christian school. We have about 200 kids in grades K-8. The library is run strictly by volunteers and is open only one day a week. We recently upgraded from card and pocket (yes, there still are a few of us out there!) to the Alexandria program.

Hi everyone I wanted to post a discussion topic about student fines to have a feel where most Media Specialist stand on this issue: School library fines—should we charge them? What are they supposed to accomplish? Is it worth the effort? Thank you for your opinion and your valuable insight :)
