U.S. Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign is blasting a Friday story in "USA Today" on the Arizona Republican's support for land deals near Luke Air Force Base involving Tempe-based SunCor Development Co. McCain and U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., supported a $14.

The word came from Mike Fannin, who was named as editor Thursday. He succeeded Mark Zieman, who became the newspaper's president and publisher in March. The Star's Sacramento-based parent company, The McClatchy Co. (NYSE: MNI), named Zieman as president and publisher of the paper on March 6.

GoFish Corp. lost $4.2 million in the first quarter, pushing its accumulated deficit -- i.e. how much money it's lost since it started -- to $28.3 million. A year ago in the first quarter, which ends March 31, GoFish (OTCBB: GOFH) lost $3.5 million.
