Hubbardston, MA, Gets Reprieve on Closing Library

The Central Massachusetts town of Hubbardston (pop. 4,606) was to be without library services as of July 1, after residents voted 600-567 June 10 against a $635,000 budget override, which included $48,204 for the Hubbardston Public Library. The library’s total budget was to be only $61,204.
