Naval Observatory Donates Rare Book to Library - News Releases (Library of Congress)

The Library of Congress announced today the acquisition of a rare book to its Thomas Jefferson’s Library. Donated by the United States Naval Observatory, a Latin version of 'Sur la Figure de la Terre' by De Maupertuis will join the more than 6,000 titles already assembled in the collection.
