It's best just to call and check with the particular store. Generally no stores will price match something like Dell online because Dell has no physical store so they're not a "local competitor", but there are exceptions made. Same thing

Regarding the tax free comment. I know for a fact that various states' tax revenue departments run projects to try to find large amounts of online purchases that have escaped paying their state sales taxes. Don't be surprised if you get a letter
