i am only using the digi weeks now and far from expert i only want to know do i have to change the country when i cross borders or do i leave mine on ireland all the time its an irish motor i am driving

when you use the split break movement rule i know you are allowed movements totalling no more than one hour between them however lets say i have left basel done my hours driving up to dumpkerque am i still allowed to use the movement rule as i dont have any legal driving time left on the day in
